Love Tiles encourages student creativity Love Tiles strengthens its approach project of teaching to the industrial sector, with a new contest aimed at students of the Department of Design, Communication and Arts of the University of Aveiro (DECA), a module integrated in the Project Business Design course.
With the slogan 'Dream it ... Book it ... Love it ", the challenge promotes the design and implementation of new ideas and innovative projects in graphic design. It focuses on communication material for a new ceramic collection under development, appealing to the imagination and creativity of those involved. More than mere preparation of a catalog, the proposals for Love Tiles imply the creation and development of the whole concept of communication associated with the launch of a new collection.

Within the assessment criteria are conceptual appropriateness of solutions to the proposed theme, originality of character and innovative proposals, as well as the practical feasibility of the project.

The works will be presented on Facebook, to be voted by the general public, and is also subject to the evaluation of the teachers at the University of Aveiro and the marketing department of Love Tiles.

Having been introduced at the beginning of March, the contest will end at the end of the month, the winner being announced in the first week of April. The author of the best project will receive a cash prize and a trip to the fair Cersaie, the leading trade fair of the ceramics sector, held in September in Bologna.
