INPI - Industrial Property for export support

The National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) available on its website a set of factsheets on Industrial Property (Trademarks, Patents, Design , etc. . ) , To support the export to popular by Portuguese companies betting markets in the internationalization of its activity.
Whereas one of the main tasks of AICEP is to promote the internationalization of domestic companies and by supporting their export activity , this initiative should be noted that the INPI , to date , includes records on markets in Angola , Brazil , China, Spain , United States , Japan , Mozambique , Canada , South Korea , India , Argentina and Chile.

These documents aim to provide the Portuguese companies exporting or who aspire to export a set of relevant information about protecting and defending their intellectual property rights (trademarks, patents and designs) in major export markets .

It is intended that this be constituted as an additional instrument at the disposal of companies, so they know the rules and specifics of protection in certain territories, internationalizing their business, their products and their services more easily , and acting with greater safety in target markets .

The records include information on how best to act in order to ensure not only the protection of their rights, but also respect for the rights of others and safeguarding in case of infringement
