"Fashion Industry" International Fair

From 10 to 13 October 2013, the 42nd edition of Fashion Industry - the International Exhibition of Textile and Fashion - will be held in St. Petersburg.

Organized by Farexpo, this fair has the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the City Council and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of St. Petersburg, as well as the National Academy of Fashion Industry.

With two editions per year - Spring and Autumn - the fair is divided into the following thematic sections:

Clothing;
Textiles;
Meshes;
Hall of lingerie;
Leather;
? Footwear;
Accessories.

The autumn edition of 2012, was attended by more than 300 exhibitors from Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Italy, Spain, Finland, Bangladesh and other countries, with the notable participation of India, under the aegis of two major trade associations - AEPC and WWEPS - which brought together 65 national companies at the event. The fair was visited by more than 10,000 people, 72% of whom were industry experts.

During the fair, an economic forum for the fashion industry was held, as well as conferences, seminars and contests.
