CVR TEJO takes 14 Producers to Russia
The tagus wines are determined to conquer the Russian market and thus consolidate the exports undertaken since 2009, the year the Regional Wine Commission Tagus (Tejo CVR) held its first foray in that market.
The Commission will carry 14 producers to Moscow from 11 to 15 February and thus showcase their wines star in Prodexpo, the most important fair of food and beverages in Russia.
The producers which CVR Tejo is taking for participation in the event held in Moscow are: Adega Cooperativa do Cartaxo, Agro-Batoréu, Casa do Cadaval , Casal Branco, Casal da Coelheira, Casal do Conde, Companhia das Lezírias, Falua, Fiúza & Bright, João M. Barbosa Wines, Quinta da Alorna, Quinta da Ribeirinha, Quinta Vale do Armo and Quinta Vale Pardinhos.
To note that last year the CVR Tejo organized, for the third consecutive year, promotions events in Moscow, with a view to enhance the knowledge of wines from the region in that country, including open trials and commented proofs of wines of the region at the Radisson Royal Hotel in Moscow on May 17.
The success of these initiatives and the russian consumer receptivity upon Tagus wines, reflected in increased sales and consumption, justify the comission's continuated bet in this market.
