Autoeuropa
Volkswagen Autoeuropa is one of the factories for car manufacturing that belong to the Volkswagen group. The plant is based on Palmela, and started working in 1995. The factory represents the biggest foreign investment ever made in Portugal, which had a very positive impact on the portuguese economy, specially on exports.
