Lisbon MBA 61st in FT top 100 The Lisbon MBA international programme, a partnership between Lisbons Nova and Católica universities has gone straight into the 61st place in the Financial Times ranking for the entire world published Monday and came 15th in Europe.

This is the only Portuguese MBA in a list led by Harvard Business School.

The Portuguese partnership offers a two-year part-time MBA and a full-time international MBA in association with MIT Sloan School of Management.

According to the Portuguese organisers, 73 percent of the students who graduated in 2011 were employed after six months.

New director, José Ferreira, attributed the results to a great effort on behalf of the workers, teachers and students, while his counterpart at Católica said this proved the excellent teaching quality in Portugal.
