The future owner of ANA with profit of 1,917 million euros The French group Vinci, winner of the contest for the privatization of ANA - Airports of Portugal, closed 2012 with a profit of 1,917 million euros, an increase of 0.7% over the previous year, and above analysts' expectations.
In the same period, the company, which operates in road infrastructure, railways, airports and stadiums, has increased turnover by 4.5% to 38,634 million euros, beating the forecasts of the analysts surveyed by the financial news agency Bloomberg.

The group led by Xavier Huillard anticipates similar results for 2013, but warns of the possibility of falling revenues from tolls, which in 2012 decreased by 1.7%, when compared to the same period in the previous year.

In December, the Portuguese Government announced its decision to sell 95% of its stock of the airport management company to the French group, majorly owned by Qatar's capital, million by 3080.

The formalization of the agreement for the sale of ANA got to be scheduled for January, but did not materialize and there is still no date closed.

According to a communication to Lusa from a source of the Ministry of Finance , this agreement "is pending the reconciliation of agendas among the stakeholders that should be present, and some final details."

The first step towards formalization of the sale of the airport management company, equivalent to purchase and sale, will be accompanied by payment of an initial installment of 100 million euros.
