The ANCIPA - National Association of Retailers and producers of food products was established on 20 September 1975 following the forced extinction of the old National Guild of Manufacturers of Confectionery, established in 1939. During the Second World War were to set up an exclusive prerogatives of the commercialization of sugar and flour, allowing the Guild of continuing a very profitable activity. Accordingly, various industrial segments were covered, such as confectionery, sugar based products, such as fruits, almonds, marmalades and candies, and baked goods, that is, the cake days. With the April 25, 1974 and the consequent abolition of guilds, the confectionery industry, together with other industry trade agri-food originated a business association, the ANCIPA. His most recent statutes were approved BTE n. 1 of 8 January 2011. Currently the Association unites more than half a thousand companies that produce and market a wide range of foodstuffs and food ingredients for human consumption, distributed by eleven Sectoral Assemblies. The Association has evolved to monitor the course of time the needs of its members while maintaining the general lines of action because always guided. Presently we are an association having a modern workforce with diverse skills and appropriate to the existing demand. The outlook is for growth.
